King Meets with Iowa Great Lakes Corridor Members During Trip to Washington D.C.
Washington, D.C. — Congressman Steve King met last week with members of the Iowa Great Lakes Corridor Development Corporation during the group’s annual Washington D.C. trip.

Meeting in a local restaurant, King heard from the Development Corporation about their top priorities in Washington and answered questions posed by the participants.

“The Iowa Great Lakes region is one of Iowa’s best examples of the economic opportunities that can fuel this state long into the future. It’s important that Chamber members come here to Washington to show federal officials how it’s possible to blend renewable fuels, manufacturing, tourism and agriculture into a flourishing local economy,” said King.
