	In The News Wednesday, March 05, 2008 King Meets with Council Bluffs Chamber Members During Trip to Washington D.C. Washington, D.C. — Congressman Steve King met last week with members of the Council Bluffs Chamber of Commerce during the Chamber’s annual trip to Washington D.C. Meeting with Chamber members at a hotel close to the Capitol, King spoke about federal priorities of Council Bluffs businesses and answered questions of members. King offered the follow statement: “Council Bluffs is a pillar for the economic growth of western Iowa. Thanks to the leadership of the Chamber and others, the region’s future in renewable fuels can only be multiplied by Google’s new facility at Folsom Lake. “Not only has the Chamber successfully told their story of success to federal officials, but these Council Bluffs leaders successfully spoke with one voice in support of projects and development initiatives.
